QICTHE is everyday cool street gear for kids who want their feet to pop with colors,patterns and textures while still maintaining a performance level which serves them in their everyday pursuits..
Key focus on the design was to create an attractive ideogram, something incredible / sticking / sophisticated and non age specific. Inspired examples came from big brands such as Converse, Fred Perry, Adidas and etc. The graphic language of the logo is polished and tick all the aforementioned points. Even though it’s a kids brand (currently) doesn’t mean the branding was to be “kiddy” or young.
QITCHE (pronounced K-I-T-C-H-E) was born in Los Angeles in 2016 and is the brainchild of an American, an Italian, and an Australian who found each other at a time when Kids shoes, in their minds, were failing to excite and inspire.
HKBA is a multi-footwear company based in Hong Kong. Starting in 2008 doing distribution, Wholesale and retail. HKBA wanted to develop their own brand for the global market but to also take advantage of distribution throughout the Asian market.
They wanted a different way to connect with the new generation of kids coming through. Fashion and Sports is important to the 3 QITCHE guys so these 2 elements are combined into the styling and functionality of QITCHE.
